About David Sami

A graduate of the UCLA School of Medicine, Dr. David Sami completed a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology/Adult strabismus at the Harvard School of Medicine program at Children's Hospital Boston. For 10 years, he served as Division Chief of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at Children's Hospital of Orange County. In 2016, Dr. Sami launched his own practice, EyeSight MD, in Orange, California, which caters to pediatric and adult patients.

In addition to his day-to-day patient care activities as an Ophthalmologist, Dr. Sami is a Qualified Medical Examiner for the state of California, and also performs independent medical evaluations involving both work and non-work related injuries. Over the years, he has served as an expert witness in a number of court cases and lectured on various topics related to the assessment, rating, and reporting of ophthalmic injuries.

Dr. David Sami's continues to be actively involved in clinical research, with publishings in several book chapters and academic journals.
